From Y's Spring/Summer 1996 collection, this sculptural wool skirt features an intricate arrangement of box pleats that gives its classic A-line silhouette an unexpected sense of volume.
The construction is particularly interesting. Fan-shaped fabric inserts are set into the openings between the pleats, expanding from within to create a structured, three-dimensional shape.
